Hello!
This past week the weather has gotten a lot cooler. It is almost time to start wearing suit coats(unfortunately). General conference was this week in Utah, but we dont see it until it is translated whih takes a few days. So we will be wacthing it on Saturday and sunday of this week.
On friday we went to Shizuoka city and had a distrit meeting. Then, because the new missionarys in Shizuoka doesnt speak English we stayed in Shizuoka all day, did planning, then taught English class there. The English class in Shizuoka is much beter than ours! We only had 3 students this past week and all they do is talk about conspiracy theories... It is kind of wierd.
Yesterday we went to a members house and ate dinner. There are 3 kids in the family. 2 daughters are 15 and 17, son is 12. The 2 daughter are really good at guitar and bass so they played a few songs for us! It was way cool. They are a way nice family. Way funny too. Plus the mom cooked us some good food!
Our ward has about 40-50 people coming every week. The primary only has about 4 or 5 kids and all of the young single dults that arent at college in Tokyo are 35yrs or older! There are only 3 or 4 who are ages 19-26. The ward has a lot of older people but it is a good ward non-the-less! We have another sports activity tomorrow whih I am very excited about.
Our district changed a little bit this past transfer cycle. One of the sisters in Shizuoka ended her mission and another Japanese sister, Sister Inoue, came. She is good friends with a former ompanion of mine. Also in Numazu, Elder Amussen left and Elder Hilyard from Bountiful came. I think Sister Stott is in Okazaki or Takayama with either a Japanese trainer or American trainer. Elder Schade doesnt come until next transfer cycle I think.
It is good to read matts letters and see how much energy and excitement he has. Missionary work is a little slow right now so my emails are boring. I cant wait until conference. It should be good!
